Both are CPA's who combined their talents to provide personalized accounting services to individuals and businesses, with offices in Southfield and Romeo. They have been established as a professional corporation since October of 1989.
Rhonda Monro, CPA is the managing partner of the Southfield office of Monro & Lennon, P. C. Rhonda graduated from Oak Park High School in 1965 and received her B. S. Degree in Accounting from Wayne State University in 1970. She took classes in the Master of Science in Taxation program at Walsh College and taught taxation classes for Wayne County Community College. Rhonda has been preparing tax returns since the age of 18 (while still in high school). Rhonda began as a sole proprietor with younger sister Sheryl working as her assistant. Rhonda resides in Beverly Hills with her husband Joe.
Sheryl Lennon, CPA has been a resident of Romeo since 1986 and is an active member and past distinctive President of the Romeo Kiwanis Club. In addition to running the Romeo office, Sheryl worked as a Professor for Davenport University, teaching accounting principles courses for over 10 years. She graduated from Oak Park High School in 1973 and began assisting older sister Rhonda with bookkeeping tasks for their parent’s television sales and repair business. Sheryl received her B. S. Degree in Accounting from Wayne State University in 1977 and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit in 1985. She worked in the Private sector for over 7 years and has over 23 years of public accounting experience. Sheryl resides in Romeo with her two sons, Zack and Max.
